Pictures of the first Societas Insomnia show We in Societas Insomnia, which translates to the Nightmare Company, had our inaugural show on 11/10/04, as the kickoff event for the December 11th body modification gathering. Ace photographer Steve of carnalworship.com took some great shots of our crew -- there was a lot more to the show, but here is a taste: Here is our host Dig the Butcher lighting the candles and carrying the sleeper [portrayed by our top-notch makup artist Lana] to her bed: He also sings Our orchestra, the Nightgaunt Ensemble, was in rare form and Angela played with them to open the show: Bonnie Green Buddha danced with snakes and swords: Ivizia, Charry and I did a technical fire set: Dig, Moe, and Rail did an incredible percussive scrap metal set: Peach, Ivizia, Cherry, Miss Ty Fyre and I did an extended fire fetish piece: And, Soriah closed the show with his incredible throat-singing: Here are some of us taking our bows: And, here the Societas Insomnia crew in the dressing room just before the show:
