Here are pictures of some
of my dead bonsaifrom when they were still alive. This page is their memorial: This a a Juniper Procumbens Nana which I aquired as an untrained shrub and trained myself. It was my favorite. ![]() This was a young Ficus Benjamina, which I trained somewhat. ![]() I find the cultivation of little trees strangely rewarding. After spending hours of carefully clipping twigs and painstakingly removing dead needles one at a time with a tweezers I feel somehow refreshed. Unlike some, when working with the bonsai I attempt to bring out its essential natural shape, and not force it to my will with harsh methods.< Unfortuantely, one grows attached to the little things, and they are rather easy to kill. Both of the above trees perished when I moved to a different apartment with a different kind of light. |
